The trustees of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) Foundation, Inc., are pleased to announce that a Jim Treadaway AIFD Memorial Scholarship will be presented for the 16th year. This scholarship will pay the registration to the 2008 AIFD National Symposium in Chicago, Ill. on July 3-7, 2008. In addition to the registration fees, AIFD Foundation may help defray the cost of attending Symposium up to a total of $1,500, based on funding availability.

Who's Eligible?
Any non-AIFD member of the floral industry needing financial assistance to further his/her education by attending AIFD educational programs and symposiums. Only those individuals who have not attended an AIFD National Symposium will be considered. Individuals already involved in the AIFD accreditation process or approved for AIFD induction will not be considered.

Application Procedure
Each applicant MUST submit this original application form and include 4 copies of this application for a total of five applications. Copies should be completed, clear and easy to read. All applications must be received at the AIFD Foundation address by January 31 in order to be eligible for consideration and will be retained by the AIFD Foundation, Inc. Please use only the application that is provided. No e-mail or faxed applications will be accepted.

Deadline
The deadline for submitting an application is January 31, 2008.
