AIFD
Award of Merit Non-Industry
AIFD
presented the Award of Merit Non-Industry to HGTV,
during
the 2007 AIFDNational Symposium in Palm Desert, Calif. (July 7-11).
They are the front runners of promoting the use of fresh flowers
and plants in everyday life and teaching their viewers just how
it should be done. In turn, this is a very positive credit to AIFD
and the floral profession.
HGTV
became the 29th winner of this award. Below is a list of past winners.

Disney
was saluted for the outstanding use of floral displays throughout
its many properties and Rodriquez for the beautiful Rose Parade
floats and the use of flowers as designed by his company |

AIFD
honored the large hospitality company for its lavish use and
display of fresh and permanent floral products in Marriott properties
around the world. |

on roses, to the use of professional floral designers and the
crediting by names of the designer's work. |
