No Leaf Unturned

Featuring: Ralph Null AIFD

Leaf

There's no limit to the sky and there's no limit to what the creative artist can do with floriculture and/or horticulture. Master floral design educator Raph Null AIFD helped prove this as he took original plant material, added his artistic touch and expounded on new ideas.

Leaf Notes:

One of the principle historic problems with plants within the floral design industry has been the tendency to neglect the product once it arrives. The common though often seems to be that plants do not receive teh minimal survival requirements. This neglect in turn reduces the quality and desirability for its use with teh end result of loss. For good quality to be retained a distinct care and maintenance program must be instituted. Proper environmental requirements must be met with proper lighting, watering and humidity.

Now is the time to rethink plants as a creative design material. The availability of unusual plant varieties, colors, form, textures, sizes and flowers has never been greater.

The focus of this program is to show this unbelieveable diversity with the hope that it will inspire a more creative approach and though process toward foliage and flowering plant materials. The long lasting quality of foliage and flowers on these plants provides the industry a great resource of cost control, customer satisfaction, and at the same time it embraces the renewable resource concept that is so strongly emphasized today.
