Special Award of Recognition
Bette Lou Barker AIFD was honored with the Special Award of Recognition
during the 2009 AIFD National Symposium held in Kansas City, Mo. (July 11-16.) This award is presented by the Board of Directors in
recognition of meritorious and dedicated services to AIFD.

This
recognition of Bette Lou marks only the fifth time
in the Institute's 41-year history that it has presented the award.
AIFD presented the
first Special Award of Recognition to AIFD Executive Director Thomas
C. Shaner CAE, in 2000 recognizing 18 years of dedicated services
to the Institute.
