British Florists Host Charity Event
FLORISTRY DEMONSTRATION SUPPORTS OUR HEROES
Over £600 was raised for the 'Help for Heroes' charity at a floristry demonstration evening held at Hadlow College. Five British Master Florists created inspirational floral designs in front of an appreciative audience at the event, which was hosted by Hadlow's multi-awrd winning Floristry Department.
Tina Aram MDPF, Neil Bain MDPF, Sharon Galloway MDPF and Linda Searle MDPF demonstrated a wide range of floral designs, including wedding and wired bouquets, and ended with a finale of hand-tied designs created by each of the professional florists, compared by Catherine Carter MDPF with advice and organization by Jo A Jarvis AIFD, CFD, the event was a fantastic success.
Further demonstrations are planned, the first being in Novemeber to showcase floral designs for the festive season. A further demonstration with a floral workshop is planned for early next year. For more informaiton contact the British Master Florists at fiveflorists@yahoo.co.uk.
