Plans are underway for yet another successful AIFD Symposium. Collaboration is in full swing as programs are being orchestrated, meals functions planned and, business sessions discussed. Taking place at the Chicago Hilton and Towers on Michigan Avenue, AIFD has arranged for a fantastic room rate of only $139 a night. Under the direction of the National Board, and as the title implies, EDUCATION will be a key component in Symposium 2008 - “Collaboration...Floral Education.” Many new, exciting and positive changes are sure to be noticed by all attendees. Although we cannot yet divulge all the details - look for more information in the next issue of Focal Points - what we can tell you is that each day will be dedicated to a specific form of Educational Collaboration.

Day one will focus on Global Awareness as we explore the influences on floral design from around the world. Day two will take us on a journey into the World of Art. Programs will stretch the imagination and challenge one and all to walk away inspired. Day three will focus on Weddings and Events and will end with a spectacular display of AIFD regional talent.

All of this taking place in spectacular Chicago...AIFD’s kind of town!!! Learn fundamentals, build foundations, have fun, rekindle friendships, all during AIFD Symposium 2008 - “Collaboration...Floral Education.”
