The bridesmaids? Or, maybe the maid of honor. Beautiful flowers combined with the ambiance of a perfect setting can make the reception of the "Dream Wedding" come true. With special funding from Syndicate Sales, floral design educator Carol Caggiano and her team of artists including Roger Dennis AIFD of Uptown, KY, Ann Jordan, AAF, AIFD of Naples ME, Larry Kramer AIFD of Big Sky, MT and Jennifer Litterst AIFD of Williamsburg VA create wonderful flowers to compliment a bountiful wedding reception. Everything must be considered from the time of day to menu and then development, lighting and lines. AIFD FOUNDATION PRESENT'S "Learning with Life3"


What happens when you combine the teaching skills of three of the best flower artists in Europe, with AIFD? You get a "hands on" workshop that will leave participants with an overwhelming learning experience, which focuses on creativity, originality, craftsmanship and beauty. This is what Per Benjamin, Max van de Sluis and Tomas De Bruyne can offer you at the AIFD Foundation "Hands On" workshop immediately following National Symposium.

Together the Swedish, Dutch and Belgian champions will bring their collective flower views to a special all day "hands-on" class. Share in the expertise and ideas of these world wide floral artists as they personally instruct the participants in their own, recognizable and individual styles of floral design.

Individual luncheon registrations (marked by an *) cannot be guaranteed until June 1. Full registrations will be guaranteed tickets to all lunches.

*Dinner Seating - IMPORTANT
Table seating for AIFD's two wonderful dinner events is coordinated through an assignment of seats prior to each event. Upon check in with the AIFD Symposium Registration Desk in Palm Desert, guests who register for either or both dinners will receive a ticket for the respective events to which they have registered. These tickets MUST be turned in to receive a table assignment. Guests who wish to sit with friends, etc., need to collect all tickets before turning them in for table assignment. Tables will not be held without tickets. If you know that you want to sit with certain friends or family for either dinner, be sure to coordinate the collection of tickets in advance. All tickets must be returned for table assignments by noon on the day of the dinner event otherwise AIFD cannot guarantee a seat for you even if you have purchased a ticket, and no refunds will be given.

*Symposium Attire
You'll be enjoying warm (the desert) Southern California, so generally comfortable business casual clothing is appropriate for wear throughout AIFD's National Symposium. There are several times, however, when other dress is more appropriate. These include the Saturday, July 7, 8:00 p.m. "Welcome to California...Land of Sunshine & Flowers" where summer whites will be the rage, the Monday, July 9, Awards & Installation Dinner where business dinner attire is more appropriate, and the Wednesday, July 11 Final Night Dinner/Dance where we dress to the nines in black-tie and elegant dresses.
