AIFD members will soon be casting their ballots for the election of new officers to the Institute’s National Board of Directors. AIFD members will also be electing their respective Regional Chapter officers and Directors. Completed ballots need to be RECEIVED by AIFD by no later than March 15, 2006 to be counted. The ballots will then be presented to the National Tellers Committee for tabulation.

All AIFD Accredited members are asked to vote for two of the four candidates for the positions of National Board of Directors-at-Large. Members in the North Central and South Central Regional Chapters will also vote for their respective Regional Director to the National Board.

Nominated for the two positions of National Director-At-Large are Tom Bowling AIFD a freelance designer from Fairfield, Ohio; Ann Jordan AIFD of Ann Jordan Design Consulting in Naples, ME; Joyce Mason-Monheim AIFD a freelance designer in Tucson, Ariz.; and Julie Poeltler AIFD of Fountain of Flowers in Lone Tree, Iowa.

Nominated to the position of the Regional Director to the National Board from the North Central Regional Chapter are: Lisa Brennan AIFD of Riverside Florist in Appleton, Wis. and Walter Fedyshyn AIFD of Zuverink Fine Silk Botanicals in Chicago, Ill. James Miller AIFD, of Florists’ Review magazine in Topeka, Kan. and Lottie Nys AIFD a freelance designer from Owasso, Okla. are nominated for the position of National Director from the South Central Regional Chapter.
