Sharon McGukin AIFD Does Live Interview About National Symposium

On Saturday, July 11, Sharon McGukin AIFD, newly elected president-elect for the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) participated in a live interview to discuss this year’s National Symposium.

McGukin arrived at KCTV, Kansas City’s local CBS affiliate, to speak to Matt Stewart, the anchor, about AIFD and what the National Symposium is meant to bring to floral designers in the area and across the nation. “That’s part of what AIFD does, we come together and share ideas about different trends,” said McGukin.

She brought to the interview with her different designs from members and presenters at this year’s Symposium. The designs featured were from various stage programs and included the following themes, vintage glamour, living green, sanctuary, trenditional and retro.
