We also welcome you to "THE SKY'S THE LIMIT," the 2009 AIFD National Symposium right here in Kansas City, MO. We are very excited to be the regional host of this great symposium and we are very proud to call Lou Lynne Moss AIFD and Bill Harper AIFD our very own regional icons spearheading this awesome symposium that I know you will enjoy!
I would also like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for my fellow South Central members having the faith in me to lead this region for the 2009-2010 term as their new president. I am very excited about this new journey and appreciate the entire region and I especially appreciate and am excited about this board we have assembled. What an exciting group of talented floral artists. I feel very blessed and honored to have such an awesome team. I would like to thank our outgoing board members for a job well done and on behalf of the entire region I say, "thank you" for your commitment.

A very special "THANK YOU" also goes out to our retiring South Central AIFD National Board Liaison Lottie Nys AIFD. Lottie has served our region for 2 full terms on the National Board and we appreciate her time and efforts greatly.
I would also like to say "THANK YOU" to our outgoing President Pat Phillips AIFD. Pat, I hope to be able to fill your shoes properly and appreciate the work you have done this past year. We have accomplished more this past year than we have in quite some time. On behalf of myself and the entire South Central Region, I thank you! Be prepared for phone calls and e-mails throughout the year from me!

We as a board are very excited to announce our South Central Scholarship winner who receives a full registration to this year's symposium. The winner is Brandi Carter from Nebraska. Congratulations Brandi!!!
